Want to become a degree student?

Starting from spring 2025, you can apply to the Bachelor’s Programme in Science based on studies completed at the open university. Students are selected based on academic performance, but the grade point average must be at least 3.5/5. The programme's general language requirements also apply to those applying through the open university route.

You can apply to the degree programme after completing the following courses (a total of 30 credits):

  1. Mandatory course: BSMA1001 Linear Algebra and Complex Numbers
  2. Four courses from one of the following course packages of your choice: A. Chemistry, B. Computer Science and Data Science, C. Mathematics and Statistics, or D. Physics.
  3. One elective course from another course package. The course must be from a different course package than the courses chosen in section 2.

Detailed selection criteria, application instructions, and deadlines will be published by the end of October 2024. The application period is in spring 2025, and the studies must be completed by summer 2025. Please check the exact deadlines on the Studyinfo service by early November at the latest.
