This accessibility statement is based on an external specialist assessment of the application system in November 2020. The statement will be updated as the errors identified are corrected.

Is the ser­vice ac­cess­ible?

The service meets most of the A and AA level accessibility requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The accessibility deficiencies identified are described in detail below.

It may take up to 14 days to receive an answer. If you are not satisfied with the answer or do not receive an answer within two weeks, you may file a complaint with the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland. Non-ac­cess­ible con­tent in the ser­vice

For the time being, certain content and features do not meet all relevant requirements. The non-accessible content is listed in Finnish. The English translations will be updated here when the translations are available.

Per­ceiv­ab­il­ity de­fi­cien­cies:

  • Some files created with office software and available for download from the website are not fully accessible (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.3.1).
  • A text alternative that serves the equivalent purpose is not available for all non-text content (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Certain opening and closing elements are not correctly interpreted when using assistive technologies (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.7, 4.1.2).
  • The content of some pages can recur several times when using assistive technologies, such as when using the VoiceOver screen reader with the Safari browser (WCAG 1.3.2).

Op­er­ab­il­ity de­fi­cien­cies:

  • Some links to external services are inaccurate and recurring (WCAG 2.4.4).
  • Certain text field descriptions are too long and do not contain all information relevant to filling out the text field (WCAG 2.4.6).

Un­der­stand­ab­il­ity de­fi­cien­cies:

  • The website content may include parts that differ from the language defined for the website (WCAG 3.1.2).

Ro­bust­ness de­fi­cien­cies:

  • The descriptions of some buttons are deficient. Some pop-up options do not have a descriptive name, and some do not feature information on whether the pop-up option is open or closed (WCAG 4.1.2).
  • Assistive technologies provide no confirmation or feedback on uploading attachments to the service (WCAG 4.1.3).
