Exotic animals clinic

We provide empathic and professional care for rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents as well as reptiles, snakes, birds and ferrets – and even more exotic pets.

The clinic employs Marcus Candido, a veterinarian who has studied the care and medication of zoo animals and wildlife at both the University of California, Davis, and the University of Georgia, Athens, in the United States, specialising in endoscopy. From 1999, Marcus has worked as a veterinarian for exotic animals and wildlife, including for 10 years as the head veterinarian of a zoo, treating a variety of animals from spiders and birds to giraffes and elephants.

Marcus has utilised endoscopy in the examination and treatment of exotic pets since 2012.
In addition, Marcus is supported at the exotic animals clinic by our designated nurses, who have experience and professional skills in the safe handling of exotic patients and working with them.
