Warning of email scams
22 April 2025
We have been informed by some colleagues that they have received emails from travel agencies, for example, Global Travel Team or Travel Housing Team, hoping to provide assistance for your travels to Helsinki. However, these companies have no connection with the University of Helsinki or with the Transforming Care Conference in June this year. We, as the organisers of the conference, will not arrange accommodation or travels, and will not ask any information regarding that.
Please do not respond to these messages or give them any personal information. We believe that these are phishing emails and that they have contacted colleagues using names found on the website. We have not provided any email addresses to these companies and we do not publish delegates' email addresses online.
If you receive an email from these companies or similar, we recommend you mark it as spam and delete it immediately.
Presentations
Each Thematic Panel session includes up to four full and two short presentations. As a rule of thumb, there is up to 20 minutes in total for each full presentation, including comments and discussion; and 5 minutes for each short presentation. For more information about the organisation of your specific Thematic Panel, contact your Thematic Panel chair(s).
Paper upload
The TCC conference series is based on the principle of sharing and preparing, i.e. that authors upload their paper before 1st June, and all conference delegates can read the papers before the conference. Access to papers is for conference delegates only and will not be publicly available; papers will be removed 6 months after the conference. Papers should be article length, not presentations, between 3000-7000 words. More information on paper access will be circulated closer to the conference.
