Speakers at the ‘Meet Your Peers’ webinar

Weronika (they/she) is a Polish student in the Master's Programme in Global Politics and Communication. They will be conducting the ‘Meet Your Peers’ webinar. Weronika moved to Helsinki one year ago and is working with social media and communications as an intern at the University of Helsinki. In their free time, Weronika likes to sketch and draw, and sometimes go to the swimming pool or sauna.

Iman (he/him) is a Master’s student in Pharmaceutical Research, Development and Safety and he comes from Iran. Iman moved to Helsinki last summer and is currently both studying and working. As Weronika, he is taking part in the international trainee programme of the University of Helsinki. Iman is interested in development and enjoys discovering new cafes and places in the city.

Sanchi (she/her) comes from India and is studying in the Master’s Programme in Contemporary Societies. Sanchi enjoys the multidisciplinary approach of the University of Helsinki – along with her degree studies, she is also pursuing classes in Finnish language, gender studies and qualitative interviewing. She is also working as a Student Ambassador which she perceives as a very enriching experience. In her free time, Sanchi likes to travel, take walks in the Finnish nature, and create art.
