Think Nook is an event and workspace on Think Corner’s second floor. It accommodates events of 40–50 people and workshops with up to 30 participants.
Bookings are available from Monday to Thursday from 9.00 to 19.00 and on Friday from 9.00 to 16.00. The minimum duration for an event in Think Nook is one hour. If you are organizing a public event at Think Corner, you may enquire about booking Think Nook for a one-hour closed session as part of the event.
University of Helsinki event organisers may also request the facility for closed events connected with research and scholarship. Closed events are subject to , except for the rule requiring events to be open to everyone.

Route from the building entrance to the facility
- The entrance is located at the corner of Fabianinkatu and Yliopistonkatu. The entrance has a ramp with a gradient of approximately 4.9 degrees. The ramp slopes sideways, resulting in a threshold of over 20 mm at a width of 800 mm at the bottom of the ramp.
- The outer door at the entrance opens with a button. There is a 25 mm threshold in front of the door. Behind the door is a vestibule, from which you can continue through a second button-operated door. This door has no threshold.
- Think Nook is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator.
Door
- The entrance has no threshold/level difference.
- The doorway has a width of 1100 mm.
- The door opens manually and closes automatically.
- The door is heavy, requiring 10 N (about 1.02 kg) or more to open.

Facility equipment
Think Nook features two screens, 98’’ and 85’’, which can be used together or separately. The main screen displays presentation slides, while the support screen can show additional content such as the programme or graphics. You can connect via an HDMI cable or wirelessly through screen-mirroring. Two presentation devices are needed to show different content on each screen.
Think Nook comes with four wireless handheld microphones and a high-quality sound system that serves the whole space.

Tiedekulma Cafe offers a wide range of food and drinks to suit any event, from hearty breakfasts and lunches to snacks, finger food and beverages. Think Corner’s event facilities are fully licensed.

Enquiries about Think Nook’s suitability and availability must be submitted at least two weeks before the preferred event date. All bookings must be made using this .
