The Kilpisjärvi Biological Station grounds encompass the main building, the Eurola and Wallgren buildings, a lakeside sauna and a Sámi hut, as well as a fish laboratory and a measuring station of the Institute of Seismology. Please note that during the laboratory renovation, access routes and spaces have been temporarily reorganised from the beginning of 2026.
- The main building () houses the station’s office, a cafeteria, a seminar room, an accommodation wing, a separate apartment and laboratory facilities. The basement houses storage and utility facilities and a sauna.
- Parking spaces: Leave your car in the parking spaces along Käsivarrentie. The space on the grounds is for station vehicles only.
- The Kiekula building is located one kilometre north of the main building via Käsivarrentie.
