Conference fees

* To become a member of Finnish Physical Society (FPS) please visit www.fyysikkoseura.fi 
** On-site registration at the conference venue (not at Reception or Conference Dinner). The availability cannot be guaranteed.
*** Includes the City Reception on March 5th and the Conference Dinner on March 6th for the participant or an accompanying person.

The conference fee (except the category Social program/accompanying person) includes: admission to the conference, conference material, conference lunches and refreshments, event services at the venue, possibility for child care (agreed beforehand), City Reception on Tuesday and Conference Dinner on Wednesday.

Important dates

• Early Bird registration begins (lower registration fee) on November 22, 2018.
• Early Bird registration ends on January 20, 2019.
• Normal registration starts on January 21, 2019.
• Normal registration ends on February 18, 2019.
• On-site registration will be possible with additional fee for a very limited number of participants. The availability of lunches, dinner etc. cannot be guaranteed.
• Physics Days: 5-7 March, 2019

Please note that abstract submission has to be done separately.

There is a possibility to issue a combined invoice (e.g. many participants from the same lab paying together) upon prior agreement with the conference bureau Confedent (e-mail: pd2019@confedent.fi). Note that an additional fee of EUR 28 will be charged for combined invoice.

Exhibition Package reservation

Deadline for reservations was February 18th. Please first reserve the Exhibition Package by sending email to toimisto@fyysikkoseura.fi. The company's Exhibition Package needs to be confirmed by the Finnish Physical Society before registering the free delegate. See the package details here. Only one free registration is included in each Exhibition Package. Additional exhibition personnel should register using the regular delegate registration.

Participants may request invitation letters to the Physics Days 2019. Please contact the organizers.

In­sur­ance

The conference organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the conference.

Please check the validity of your own travel insurance.

Code of Conduct

We kindly ask all participants to agree to the Code of Conduct of Physics Days 2019.

Cancellation policy

Kindly note that all cancellations and/or changes to registration must be made in writing to the conference bureau Confedent by e-mail: pd2019@confedent.fi .

For registrations cancelled before or on January 20, 2019, the registration fee will be fully refunded (EUR 25 handling fee will be deducted). For registrations cancelled after January 20, 2019 but before or on February 18, 2019, a cancellation fee of EUR 75 will be applied. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after February 18, 2019 and due payments will not be cancelled.

Please note that no-show does not constitute cancellation. In case of no-show, the registration fee will not be refunded.
