Call for new symposia is now closed!

Symposia are intended to be focused on a special interest topic in any of the areas in cognitive neuroscience, which should be a "hot topic" of wide interest. Each symposium is approximately 2 hours and can comprise of oral presentations of 4-5 speakers. Symposium proposals have been reviewed by the Scientific Committee and selected on the basis of merit, interest to the cognitive neuroscience community, and relevance to the overall focus of the conference. We will also aim for balance of the gender and career stage as well as geographical diversity.

Only one symposium abstract should be submitted by the symposium chair in order to propose one symposium. The symposium abstract should be comprised of a summary of the proposed symposium and individual abstracts for each speaker. The maximum length of the symposium abstract is 1500 words. The word limit does not include the title or author details of the abstract. The abstract must be written in English.

If required, talks in symposia can be presented virtually via Zoom, in which case the talks will be streamed to the physical audience. We can not accept fully virtual symposia. Instead of virtual symposia, we encourage authors to change speakers to those that can participate the conference physically. If your symposium needs a virtual presentation or change in the speakers, please contact organizers.  All speakers are required to register to the conference with regular registration fees!
