Registration will take place at University Main Building, Fabianinkatu 33 lobby from 14:30-17:00. The registration and information desk will be in the lobby for the whole duration of the conference.
The reception hosted by the City of Helsinki on Tuesday 4 June 2024 will have a separate registration link, which will be sent to the registered conference participants by e-mail in May.

Colourful Highlights of Biocolours2024 conference – Panel Discussion
Please join us for a panel discussion concluding the conference.
The panelists, who are also keynote speakers of the conference, will share their highlights of the event, which brought together researchers from around the world to explore and research alternatives to the currently used, synthetically produced, oil-based colourants. The panel discussion will be moderated by Professor Riikka Räisänen, chair of the conference organizing committee.Programme

The morning of Friday June 7 is reserved for excursions in Helsinki and Espoo. You can choose only one excursion. The maximum capacity for each excursion is 20 participants. Some of the excursions are free of charge since they are within walking distance from the University and there are no entrance fees (Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden, Lapuan Kankurit Show Room and Finnish Textile and Fashion). For the museum (Design Museum) the fee for entrance and guidance is 6 €, and it is within walking distance from the University. Ioncell, Aalto Bio2, Aalto ARTS, Origin by Ocean and VTT biotechnology are all located in Otaniemi, Espoo. The return ticket for the metro to Espoo is 6 €. Marimekko is located a short metro ride east from the city centre. All of the excursions begin at the University and are led by a conference organiser who will take care of paying the required transportation and entrance fees. The 6 € fee is charged at your registration.
