The Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences has again a pleasure to invite all its personnel, friends and cooperation partners to a lively and elevating Oktoberfest party that will be streamed live from the UH Think Corner on Wednesday, October 21, starting at 18:00.

The programme of this traditional Oktoberfest party focuses on sustainability and the well-being of humans and nature, and includes, inter alia, explosive science snapshots, video salutes from our newest international professors, panel discussion about the interaction between science and businesses, and best published paper awards. We will also learn about the science behind beer brewing. This all flavoured with live music.
The keynote speakers include Jaakko Kangasjärvi (Dean), Hannele Pokka (our new Professor of Practice), Pia Nilsson (Director, UPM), Tero Vauraste (Iceye Oy, Wilson Center, USA), Petteri Hänninen (Head Brewer, CoolHead Brew) and many new professors.
