The University of Helsinki is a workplace of roughly 7,800 individuals, while our students number over 30,000. We strive to promote trust and a positive and collegial atmosphere.
Staff welfare is one of the University’s strategic goals, and as an employer the University wishes to make work as flexible as possible, as well as support the career development and welfare of its employees in a number of ways.
A wide range of support is available to promote students’ health and welfare. Among other things, students have at their disposal the services of the Finnish Student Health Service and counselling psychologists, as well as the sports, exercise and wellbeing services provided by UniSport.
