Management Contacts

The University’s sustainability and responsibility work is led by Vice-Rector Anne Portaankorva.

Each faculty at the University of Helsinki has appointed a vice-dean responsible for sustainability and responsibility, acting as the faculty’s key promoter of sustainability and responsibility.

Sustainable wellbeing unit

Sustainable wellbeing unit supports UH’s ambitious responsibility efforts, community wellbeing and planetary wellbeing. Sustainable wellbeing unit consist of three teams:

  • Sustainability and responsibility team supports and develops UH carbon neutrality and nature work, responsibility reporting and societal impact related to sustainability.
  • Human resources development and occupational wellbeing team supports employee and managers’ skills’ development and wellbeing on the University level.
  • Student wellbeing team works towards supporting student wellbeing, studying ability and psychosocial support on the University level.

Sustainable wellbeing unit is led by the Head of Responsibility and Wellbeing.
