As we analyze, integrate and manage large-scale biomedical data, mathematics and computer science related expertise, such as machine learning, optimization theory, numerical analysis, multi-variate statistic and software engineering, is desirable. Some knowledge on biomedicine, genetics or other biology related fields would be an asset but not required.

We require that a student joining the lab has the overall grade point average of at least 3.0 (scale 1-5) and that grades for courses considered as major are at least 4.0.
