As we analyze, integrate and manage large-scale biomedical data, mathematics and computer science related expertise, such as machine learning, optimization theory, numerical analysis, multi-variate statistic and software engineering, is desirable. Some knowledge on biomedicine, genetics or other biology related fields would be an asset but not required.
If you are interested in a position and have experience in the above mentioned fields, please contact Sampsa Hautaniemi (firstname.lastname@example.org).
While a typical graduate student has done an MSc thesis in our group, highly motivated and skilled students are welcomed to contact Sampsa Hautaniemi about opportunities to join the lab.
