Eligible candidates are PhD students or those who have completed a PhD within the last three years. The paper must have been presented at a ReNEW event after the Third Nordic Challenges conference (i.e. 9 March 2019), and this includes virtual events and papers accepted for the 2023 conference. The winner(s) will be announced in connection with the 6th Nordic Challenges Conference dinner, and each of them will be awarded 15,000 NOK prize money.
The 2022 winners of the prize were Davide Orsitto and Frederik Forrai Ørskov.
