Research hall and invertibrate enclosures

Research hall and invertibrate enclosures

Modern research hall with climate controlled rooms as well as large outdoor invertibrate enclosures

Research hall

Built in 2006, the research hall contains separately temperature controlled rooms ideal for experimental research. Currently, it is used for butterfly and salmon research. The research hall also contains office space, growth chambers and large areas for processing samples.

Invertebrate enclosures

The station has three large invertebrate enclosures suitable for research projects that require a large enclosed space out of doors. The netted enclosures currently are used for butterfly research (mainly in the month of June), but they can also be used for other organisms as well.
