Research facilities

Research services at Lammi Biological Station are also available as commissioned projects. At the station, you can rent a workspace and use the station’s research infrastructure in a range of projects. Our technicians can collect samples on agreed schedules and serve as research assistants in various projects.

Sampling and support for research

The biological station offers services for research support and sampling to all customers. You can enquire about services provided by research technicians at the station, including assistive duties in research projects, water sampling or other field sampling.

Facilities and vehicles

The station’s research infrastructures can be utilised in a range of research projects. The conventional research infrastructure, such as laboratory facilities, microscopes, ovens and scales, is available for use subject to a research infrastructure fee.

The motor vehicles at Lammi Biological Station are available for research activities in accordance with the current price list. The selection includes cars, minibuses, boats, a snowmobile and other vehicles.
