New houses built of timber will be completed and available for year-round accommodation from spring 2023 onwards. Old timber buildings provide additional space in summer.
The canteen of the station has the capacity to prepare everything from packed lunches to banquets. Both the new building and the traditional old dining hall provide impressive settings for dining.
During weekdays, the canteen serves a breakfast, a lunch and an afternoon coffee. A dinner is served during large meetings and courses. At other times a self-serviced dinner can be booked in the dining cabinet. Other dining arrangements, including service to other buildings and packed field lunches can also be requested. The canteen is primarily intended for those visiting the station with an advance registration.
The station premises are as well suited for intensive on-site meetings as they are for hybrid meetings with some participants present only through a remote connection.
Peaceful location, atmospheric buildings, large yard and flexible arrangements make Hyytiälä a comfortable site for various festive occasions.
