Guests' registration for the conferment ceremony closed 20 April.
The guests to be invited personally, such as the university management and professors of the faculty, have gotten an invitation with registration instruction via email.
Registration for the Conferment Ceremony events is binding. By registering you accept the cancellation policy. Participation fees for the dinner and ball must be paid online within a week (7 days) after receiving the payment link to University's Ceepos webstore. Payment link will be sent to the given email address in about a week from registration.
Accepted online payment methods are credit card (Visa, Mastercard), mobile (MobilePay, Siirto) and an online transfer with a Finnish bank service. The payment is processed by Verifone Finland Oy.
If you cancel participation by the time registration closes 20 April 2023, your participation fee will be refunded, however, deducted with a 50-euro service cost. Cancellations made after 20 April are non-refundable, even in case the cancellation is due to illness.

It’s good to reserve about 30 minutes for the registration process. We recommend that you acquaint yourself with the questions asked on the form before you start the registration process here. The promovendi will register their companions on the same registration form with them. Only in the case that two promovendus are each other’s companions they both register separately and pay the fee of solo participant (whole conferment without a companion 320 e).
Registration for the Conferment Ceremony is a two-phased process. First, you’ll pay the participation fee on one form and then you register your information for the event and for the Conferment Matricula on another form. You’ll access the payment form with a link on this site and you’ll get a link for the next form on your payment confirmation. The payment by itself does not count as registration. Your registration is valid only after you have also filled out the second form and sent it. You’ll get a confirmation email once the organisers have received the form.
You can make changes to your registration using the link sent to you in the confirmation email while the registration is ongoing. Registration closes on Monday 27 March 2023 at 23.59.
The promovendi must include a photo of themselves on the registration form to be printed on the Conferment Matricula. The photo needs to be a headshot portrait (height bigger than the width) with preferably light background. Cropped size min. 500 x 700 px, file format preferably jpg or png, file size max. 1 GB.
The promovendi can invite guests to attend the Conferment Act on May 19th at the Great Hall in University Main Building. The number of guests should be included on the registration form. Please, read the description of the event and instructions for the guests here before your registration here.
Also, please acquaint yourself with the programme, dress code, expenses and the cancellation policy (below) before registration.
There will be a photographer at the Conferment Ceremony taking pictures in all the events. The photos and possible videos may be used by the University of Helsinki and the future Conferment Ceremonies in their communications and marketing.

If you cancel your participation by Thursday 20 April 2023, you will get a refund for half (50 %) of your participation fee. Cancellations made after 20 April are non-refundable, even in case the cancellation is due to illness.
If you cancel your participation after the Conferment Matricula has already been compiled, you will be conferred as absent, and you cannot be conferred in the future Conferment Ceremonies of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
