The theme of the 2022 Alumni Day on 22 March is sustainable development and in particular the sustainability crisis in working life. To enable a sustainable lifestyle and transform society, we need a sustainability transition, but what does it mean for the world of work?
Our current and future alumni are an important asset for the university and a force for change in society. Whatever their role or sector, sustainability and responsibility are emerging themes. What skills are needed in the face of the sustainability challenge? How is this change already visible? What impact can be expected?
Reetta Räty, a journalist and professor of working life VTM, will lead the discussion on the Science Corner Stage. Leena Alanko, VTM, Team lead, Emancipatory economy, Demos Helsinki, Associate Professor of Education at the University of Helsinki, sustainable society expert Arto O. Salonen, and Taina Susiluoto, Director, OTM from the Confederation of Finnish Industries.
Alumni, update your knowledge of the world. Welcome to join us online on Tuesday 22.3.2022 at 17.30.
Please note, the event takes place in Finnish.
