Biomedicum Flow Cytometry

We have re-opened the schedules for the instruments. You can now make bookings for independent use of Accuri, Aria and Sony again. All service run bookings are made through requests. The flow unit personnel will continue to partially work remotely at least until end of the year, independent users be prepared to perform start up and shut down procedures.

 

Keep the following in mind when visiting us

  • The lab space is small so come alone to the instrument you reserved! Max 5 persons in the lab at once.
  • Keep the safety distance to other persons in the lab.
  • Do not enter the lab with any symptoms of a cold or flue.
  • Be mindful of good hand hygiene. 
  • Remember the general instructions on coughing, sneezing and blowing your nose.
  • Clean workspace after instrument use.

NOTE

  • "The University of Helsinki recommends the use of protective masks in working and learning situations which cannot be organised remotely or by observing safe distances."
  • Service users: leave samples after introducion or if you want to stay and wait, please keep distance or use a protective mask
  • It is recommended to use protective mask during training

Biomedicum Flow Cytometry has moved to Room B205, B204a2 and B204b1. Yearly maintenance was done to Aria II, remember to check compensation and settings
