We study regulation of gene expression by the minor spliceosome. This parallel pre-mRNA splicing machinery functions during the nuclear RNA processing phase and regulates cellular mRNA levels. We investigate the mechanism, regulation and genomics/transcriptomics, but also human diseases associated with the minor spliceosome.
