The HELSUS website has been renewed with a clearer structure, improved accessibility, and a more user-friendly design to better serve both members and external stakeholders interested in sustainability research and collaboration. Alongside enhancing usability and navigation, one of the central aims of the redesign was to make it easier for visitors to quickly understand what HELSUS does, what it stands for, and how it contributes to sustainability science and societal impact. The renewed content and overall direction of the website were developed collaboratively by the HELSUS Coordination Unit together with the Steering Group, ensuring that the site reflects the network’s shared vision and priorities.
The updated website also presents HELSUS offerings and opportunities more clearly for different member groups, including researchers, early career researchers, and, as a new addition, student members from the University of Helsinki’s master’s programmes. Furthermore, new sections introduce the updated HELSUS research themes, while visitors interested in sustainability education can now find a curated collection of useful resources and links, which will continue to be developed further over time.
