HELSUS Steering group

HELSUS Steering group responsible for processing the Action Plan and promoting the objectives of HELSUS. The faculties and LUOMUS each appoint one member and a personal deputy to the Steering Group. The Group supports the Director of the network in the management of the institute. Professor Michiru Nagatsu is Chair and Professor Reetta Toivanen Vice Chair of the group.

Sustainability Science Impact Group

The Sustainability Science Impact Group supports the HELSUS Director and the Steering Group by planning and developing interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research cooperation, education as well as outreach activities of the network across the University of Helsinki and beyond. The SSIG plans and develops the scientific content of the five research themes and respective activities. They also generate ideas for new openings in interdisciplinary sustainability research and education as well as support networking and interdisciplinary community building activities.
