International accreditation of degrees

The European System of Evaluation of Veterinary Training (ESEVT) is a commonly recognised European standard in the field, whose aim is to ensure that the training provided by the units which pass the evaluation fulfils the relevant criteria.

The European Association for Evaluation of Veterinary Education (EAEVE) evaluates the content and quality of veterinary training at regular intervals. In connection with evaluations, the Faculty draws up detailed self-evaluation reports. Over the course of several days, the international evaluation committee visits the Faculty and interviews both teaching and research staff as well as other staff, students and stakeholder representatives. The latest evaluation was conducted in September 2019. The training provided by the Faculty was found to meet the requirements of the EU directives that regulate training in veterinary medicine and those of the European System of Evaluation of Veterinary Training (ESEVT) system, resulting in the Faculty receiving the status of an accredited training provider.
