Education provided at the Kumpula science campus offers deep insight into the broad range of natural sciences and the diverse topics of research. The collective approach to studies helps students learn both the fundamentals of science as well as the latest research-based knowledge. Our graduates are experts in their fields and highly appreciated by both academia and the labour market.
Teaching for the best of the world

Kumpula Campus is one of the largest Nordic competence clusters in the natural sciences. We offer education leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy. The campus is home to eight – seven Finnish and one international – bachelor’s programmes, as well as 12 international master’s programmes. We also educate teachers of mathematics, physics and chemistry. In addition, our education spans a diverse range of open online courses that are also well suited to professionals.

The Faculty’s multidisciplinary research guarantees the quality of our education. Our teachers are leading names in their field. Many of our students also work at the University and in our research groups during their studies.
