Conference venue

The conference will be held at the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus in the Porthania building (PII).

Travel

In order to reach the city center from Helsinki Airport, it is convenient to use the local train lines P or I and get off at e.g. Helsinki Central Railway Station (Helsingin Päärautatieasema). Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machines at the airport's train station or through the Helsinki public transport app.

Tickets within Helsinki including the airport:

  • Use the HSL app whenever possible.
  • Travel within Helsinki requires a valid ticket including Zones AB.
  • Travel between Helsinki and the airport requires a valid ticket including Zones ABC.
  • Day tickets are of good value and allow unlimited travel within selected zones. These can be purchased on the HSL app or from ticket machines at major stations and stops.

In the event that you need childcare during your stay, it is possible to order a baby sitter from The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare (MLL). You may contact the organisers if you need assistance with this. Please contact us well in advance of the event in order to ensure enough time for planning.
