The "quasiworld" describes the confluence of the research fields, where quasiconformal maps and methods play a central role. This includes portions of complex dynamics, geometric function theory, geometric group theory, analysis on metric spaces and random geometry.
For two years, researchers in these communities have regularly gathered in the virtual and global Quasiworld seminar. Inspired by the success of this seminar, we now invite the extended community for an in-person workshop in Helsinki, Finland, to showcase and hear about the latest advances in the community. We will also use the opportunity to celebrate the 60th birthday of Mario Bonk, his numerous profound research contributions in the field, and his vast service to the community.
