We have reserved a special quota of rooms for our conference guests from two Radisson Blu hotels. The room rates for our guests at both hotels range from 150 EUR/ Single Standard room (1 person) to 180 EUR/ Double Standard room (2 persons).

Guests can choose their preferred room type, and receive an additional discount when paying for the reservation upon booking. The cancellation policy for individual bookings depends on the booking type chosen by the guest. To confirm the reservation, guests must provide a valid credit card information. Rooms are subject to availability and should be booked 10 days before arrival at the latest. Scandic Friends members should also check for available loyalty offers.

Transport
Both conference venues - the main building of the University of Helsinki and the Metsätalo building - are easily accessible by train, metro, bus, and tram. The main railway station and the Helsinki University metro stop are a short walk away. Read more information regarding transportation connections and tickets on HSL's website.
Travelling from Helsinki Airport to the city centre (Central Railway Station) is easy and takes approximately 30 minutes. The I and P commuter trains connect the airport directly with the city centre and run frequently throughout the day. The train station is located underneath the airport terminal. Tickets (zones ABC / €4.50) can be purchased via the HSL app, from ticket machines at the airport station, or by using a contactless bank card at the station.
Boat trip to the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress on Wednesday evening
As the ferry to Suomenlinna is part of Helsinki’s public transport system, participants are required to have a valid HSL ticket before boarding. Tickets can be purchased via the HSL mobile app, ticket machines, or service points during opening hours.
