We are delighted to welcome you to the 18th Nordic Conference on Religious Education (NCRE), which will take place in Helsinki, 8–11 June 2026.
The theme of this year's conference is "The Existential Art of Education: Superdiversity, Resilience, and Religious Education", inviting contributions on the following themes in particular:
- The existential in education
- Superdiversity in education
- Resilience construction in times of global turmoil
- Religious education and meaning in life
- Religious and spiritual education for hope amid losses
- Relational dimensions of children’s existential resilience
Papers addressing other aspects of Religious Education are also warmly welcome.
Submission guidelines:
- Abstract length: max. 250 words
- Languages: English
- Presentation formats: individual papers, symposia, or posters
- Submission deadline: 1 December 2025
- Notification of acceptance: January 2026
