Conference venue

The conference will be held at the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus in the Metsätalo building (Forest House), 3rd floor. The address is Unioninkatu 40 / Fabianinkatu 39.

  • Metsätalo (conference venue): student canteen. VEG & VEGAN.
  • Fazer Café: soups, salads, baked potatoes, quiches, pastries & specialty coffees. VEG. Approx. 2 min walk from Metsätalo 
  • Tiedekulma café: breakfasts and lunch soups. VEG. Also a book store + University of Helsinki merch! Approx. 5 min walk from Metsätalo.
  • Espresso Edge: sandwiches, soups, salads, baked potatoes, smoothies. VEG & VEGAN. Approx. 4 min walk from Metsätalo 
  • Zen Sushi: sushi, bowls, noodles. VEG. Approx. 5 min walk from Metsätalo. 
  • VEG = vegetarian options available
  • VEGAN = vegan options available

During summertime, Helsinki is a popular travel destination for tourists, so it is better to book your accommodation well in advance.
