The Summer Days welcomes all researchers in the fields of History and Philosophy of Education to present their research, to listen and to discuss. Democracy literally means the rule of the people. At the conference, we will ask, how 'people', 'power' and 'education' relate to each other historically, philosophically, and conceptually. The Summer Days of 2023 are organized by the research group Democratic education and political polarisation in the era of global crises (DEMOPOL) with the Finnish Society for History and Philosophy of Education (FSHPE). The conference provides an excellent platform for encountering and intersecting different research ideas, fields, and people!
