Accommodation options
As the conference venue is located outside of the city, we recommend you book your accommodation for example in the city centre, Hakaniemi or Pasila with good access to public transportation. Following are some options at different price ranges. Please note we do not have conference prices for hotels.
Apartments from 125€ / night per room
Rooms and apartments for rent close to the sea side in Töölö. Apartments range from 35 – 65 m2 and can have up to 7 guests. Direct buss 70 to Viikki and multiple connections to the city center.
Hostel in the district Sörnäinen. Surrounded by coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Frequent direct buss connections to Viikki and the city center.
2 minutes walk to central railway station and frequent buss connections to Viikki.
Located in district Hakaniemi with frequent buss connections to Viikki and the city center outside the hotel. Nice selection of coffee places and restaurants, the seaside within walking distance and the newly renovated Hakaniemi Marketplace.
Located near city center in the district Hakaniemi, 10 minutes walk to main railway station and 5 minute walk to buss connections to Viikki.
Located next to the central railway station. Several busses from the central railway station to Viikki throughout the day. Direct train connection to the airport. See also other Sokos Hotels around the city.
Located together with Tripla Mall and the Pasila train station. Direct buss 506 to Viikki every 10 minutes. Direct train connection to the airport.
Don’t be surprised to still find snow on the ground in April. The Spring can be quite cold in Helsinki, so we recommend you bring appropriate clothes and shoes.
On Viikki Campus, you can visit a room located on the second floor of building E at Latokartanonkaari 3.
The room can be used within the opening hours of the building. Building E (the main door) is for the time being open from Monday to Friday from 10 am. to 5 pm.
Eduroam is available on the campus. For those who do not have access to that, you can use the guest network.
