Best abstracts and presentation award

Young researchers (currently enrolled as PhD researchers) will have the possibility of being selected for three awards for the best abstract and presentation (150 euros each), plus the possibility of publishing their research for free on the journal Forests Monitor.

The Forests Monitor (FM) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal devoted to the applied science of multifunctional forest ecosystems, with a primary objective of enhancing forest management and conservation in support of good governance worldwide.

FM welcomes contributions from numerous disciplines in forestry and related fields, which have implications for forest ecology, management, technology, and forest resource and nature conservation economics and policy. FM has three broad focal areas: forest ecology and conservation, forest management and planning, and forest policy and economics.

Procedure: Panel moderators will propose after each session the best presenter. Among the short-listed presentations, conference board members will identify based on the abstracts the three best presenters.
