Registration for HEPP6 is now open! Early bird registration lasts until 6 February 2026, and then normal registration will run from 7 February until 8 March.

Registration fees

Below are the conference fees for HEPP6 (including at least coffees and a reception). Reduced fees apply for pre-doctoral, unpaid, and Global South/East scholars. You may inquire with conference organizers at about reduced fees.

When you register for the conference, you may freely choose to participate onsite or online, regardless of what you listed when you submitted your abstract. 

HEPP6 ONSITE: Normal fee – 290€ (early bird 240)
HEPP6 ONSITE (Reduced) or ONLINE (normal) fee – 190€ (early bird 160)
HEPP6 ONLINE (Reduced) – 120€ (early bird 90)
HEPP research group member – 35€

Social Programme

  • Conference reception hosted by the City of Helsinki, 18 May 2026 from 18.30 to 19.30
    • The reception is free, but in order to attend, you must register by 17 May 2026 (tickets will be checked at the door). You will also receive separate emails reminding you to register for this event.
  • Conference dinner, 19 May 2026*
    • The ticket for the conference dinner has a separate fee of 40 €. You can purchase a ticket to the conference dinner while registering for the conference.

Payment of registration fees

  • Invoice payment:
    • An invoicing fee EUR 19 will be added to all invoices. Note that an additional fee of EUR 19 will be charged for any changes made to a sent invoice (e.g. invalid invoicing address or additional data not given during registration).
    • The invoice reference number must show as identification on bank transactions. The invoice will include all necessary international bank information for the bank transfer. All bank charges should be covered by the payer.
    • Registration and other reservations will be confirmed only once a full payment has been received.
  • Online payment:
    • The following payment methods are accepted: Credit cards Visa and MasterCard (no prepaid cards) and Google Pay.
    • Connection is secure between the registration system and the payment service provider during the online payments.

Cancellation and refund policy

Registration is binding and all registration fees are non-refundable.
All cancellations have to be made in writing by email to the conference office ().

The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the Conference. The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind so please check the validity and coverage of your own travel insurance.

There will be no refund for no-shows. Denial of a visa application to Finland does not entitle a participant to any refunds.

The organisers do not take responsibility for force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes etc.). In such a case, the organising committee reserves the right to decide about refunding of paid registration fees.
