Visiting Fellows selected for academic year 2022-2023

The call for proposals for the Aleksanteri Visiting Fellowships 2022-2023 was open from 17 January until 13 February 2022. The research visits will commence in August 2022 at the earliest.

As many as 144 scholars worldwide submitted an application. We are pleased that so many scholars had an interest in coming to work with us. At the same time, the high number of submissions means that we were able to support only a very small part of all the many outstanding proposals. Many thanks to all the applicants!

Each year, we aim to invite a diverse cohort of fellows in terms of research topics, disciplines, career stage, and countries of study, combining these considerations with the criteria of academic excellence and the potential of a mutually beneficial research visit. Given our ability to invite only a few of the many qualified applicants we hope that many of those who submitted an application will consider this opportunity in the coming years, too.

Aleksanteri Visiting Fellows and their research projects will be introduced on our website late May-early June.
