We mainly admit comprehensive school pupils from the school’s catchment area in Southern Helsinki, with the exception of the Latin class, to which admission is based on an aptitude test.

Pupils wishing to attend the Latin class will have to pass an aptitude test that measures the pupil’s native language (Finnish) skills. Please enrol for the test on Thursday, 16 January 2020 by 15.00 at the latest, using the form “Kuudesluokkalaisen ilmoittautuminen soveltuvuuskokeeseen” available at https://www.hel.fi/static/liitteet/kasvatuksen-ja-koulutuksen-toimiala/lomakkeet/60-7.pdf.

We admit pupils to the Latin class based solely on the aptitude test scores. If there are available places in Norssi’s admissions quota after the catchment area pupils and Latin class pupils have been accommodated, we will also admit pupils from outside our catchment area.
All pupil admissions are published during spring on the school’s front door and, with the guardian’s permission, also on the school website. Application forms are available from sixth-grade teachers, and they must also be submitted to the teacher.
Admissions to other grades
We accept pupils to the 2nd, 8th and 9th grades from our catchment area only.
