Teo Juvonen is writing his PhD thesis on the morphosyntactics of English possessive constructions in Late Middle and Early Modern English. He is interested in the theory of language change, the social history of language, using electronic corpora as a tool for analysis, and the many ways language can be described and explained. At present, he is most focused on the more antiquarian aspects of his material, the idiolects, rare words and syntactic constructions, and the historical context of the documents and their authors. He is currently working part-time on his thesis.
