Understanding the unconscious ideologies that guide the design of digital democracy tools is indeed the goal of the "Digital Ideologies" project at our group funded by the Kone Foundation. This work is being done through the systematic deconstruction of digital platforms for public participation, and through participatory interventions with communities and technologists during 2021-2023.
