REC supported 'Global Climate Strike For Future' event organised by school children around the world

Academic ecologists from the University of Helsinki showed their support for thousands of school children in climate strike. We marched from the Senate square to the Parliament building with the children to get the attention of the politicians to act faster to save the planet from climate change.

This environmental protest was organised around the world by school kids, who are frustrated to politicians who are not doing enough to prevent climate change from happening. This movement was started by a 15-year-old schoolgirl Greta Thundberg in Sweden, who wanted people to take action to prevent climate change before it's too late.
