We are seeking candidates with a strong background in life sciences, such as cell biology, biochemistry, mouse models, microscopy solutions, image analysis, and microfluidics. The candidate should be highly motivated to explore key open questions in these fields.

Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and abstract thinking skills, as well as the potential to develop and pursue independent scientific projects within the scope of IMMENs. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in an international environment are essential.
The work will be supervised by one of IMMEN's principal investigators (Dr. Taija Mäkinen, Dr. Kari Vaahtomeri, Dr. Cecilia Sahlgren, or Dr. Guillaume Jacquemet) and conducted within our active research community. The participating research groups have strong international networks and are based at the campuses of the University of Helsinki and Åbo Akademi University. The research environment offers state-of-the-art facilities, advanced expertise in vascular, tumor, immune, and stem cell biology, and maintains strong collaborations with renowned research groups.
