Academy research fellow (PhD)
Research: My research is focused on designing and investigating functional nano- and quantum structures in solid state matrices. I develop and employ ion implantation techniques for nanomaterials, apply high resolution electron microscopy for characterisation and explore the material's functionalisation via in situ measurements. The experimental work is supported by multiscale theoretical modeling that provides a complementary insight into the structures.
