Optics of Photosynthesis lab involved in Science paper
Albert Porcar-Castell as co-author in Science paper "OCO-2 advances photosynthesis observation from space via solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence" published 13th of October.
The paper gives direct proof of the link between satellite-based solar-induced fluorescence and global ecosystem productivity. It also sets the context for the recent multiscale FAST campaign at Hyytiälä, where the group aims to answer many of the remaining open questions.
