We had the pleasure to talk with Prof. Daniel Levitin about music and the brain, and music as medicine, also about fake news, decision making, and the role of curiosity in learning and longevity.
Prof. Daniel Levitin is best known for his book "This is your brain on music", which marks the advent of a new era in neuroscience - the findings of music-related studies started to be of interest also to the general public. Prof. Levitin was in Helsinki with Victor Wooten for the Helsinki Festival, where the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra played Wooten's La Lección Tres, and we had the pleasure to talk with him about music and the brain, and music as medicine, but also about fake news, decision making, and the role of curiosity in learning and longevity.
