Singing in a Choir Enhances the Structural Connectivity of the Brain

A new episode was published in the Brain, Music and Learning podcast with Nella Moisseinen as the guest.

Nella Moisseinen from University of Helsinki has studied the structural connectivity of brains of 21-88-year-old adults. Some of her participants had a background in choir singing, while others had been active in other fields. They conclude that regular choir singing holds great promise for supporting brain health across the adult lifespan.
