New BML Podcast Episode: Professor Erich Schröger at the Neurodynamics of Language and Music

Neurodynamics of Language and Music brought together important researchers in the field of language and music related brain activations in Helsinki in February 2025. Professor Erich Schröger, or "Erkki", as we tend to call him in Helsinki, is best known for his work in the field of involuntary attention and short-term memory well as his seminal work with the mismatch negativity. In this interview, we also discuss his more recent work on participants actively producing sounds with button presses which very nicely highlights the combination of seminal theoretical work and practical empirical research. https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/neuroscience/articles/10.3389/fnins.2022.995119/full
