On May 13th-15th BML’s researcher, PhD Tanja Linnavalli visited University of Valencia, and its International Conference on Movement, Music and Teacher Training in the Early Years. The conference was aimed at researchers and practitioners alike, and hosted visitors from many countries. Linnavalli gave a keynote speech about the preliminary results of MUSPRO – Music, Sports, and Prosocial Behavior. Doctoral student Alicia Lucendo Noriega from the same project gave a speech in one of the symposia. Another keynote speaker, Professor Arja Sääkslahti from the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Jyväskylä, has also contributed to MUSPRO, which is part of Finnish Research Council’s Centre of Excellence in Music, Mind, Body and Brain. So, the Finnish representation was high in Valencia.
