The project focuses on developing practical methods to help early childhood education professionals support children's linguistic development while strengthening family participation. Coordinated by Laurea University of Applied Sciences, VOIKO is implemented in partnership with the University of Helsinki Brain Music and Learning research group.
VOIKO brings together researchers and educators to co-create tools that promote multilingual and inclusive early childhood education. The fellows from BML are responsible for designing and piloting music-based activities to support language development.
