On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, we celebrated the farewell of the long-time and well-liked university lecturer and researcher, docent Ritva Torppa. Ritva will retire from her position as a university lecturer over the summer. The celebration included reminiscing about the past, singing, and honoring Ritva's career as a speech therapist, university lecturer of logopedics, developer and group leader of "speech-music groups" for children with hearing loss, and researcher. Research and supervision of PhD students will continue with the support of the Signe and Ane Gyllenberg Foundation grant.
Keskiviikkona 6.5.2026 juhlittiin pitkäaikaisen ja pidetyn yliopistonlehtorin ja tutkijan, dosentti Ritva Torpan läksiäisiä. Ritva jää yliopistonlehtorin työstä ansaitulle eläkkeelle kesän aikana. Juhlissa muisteltiin menneitä, laulettiin, ja juhlistettiin Ritvan uraa logopedian, puheterapian, puhemuskarin ja tutkimuksen parissa. Tutkimus ja väitöskirjatutkijoiden ohjaus jatkuu Signe ja Ane Gyllenbergin säätiön apurahan mahdollistamana.
