This spring, a group of CBRU/BML members attended the 10th Learning and Plasticity Meeting – LaP2026, in Äkäslompolo, Lapland. Research Director Mari Tervaniemi, Post-doctoral researcher Sergio Navarrete-Arroyo, and Doctoral Researchers Beatrice Aquilino and Amutha Meyyappan participated in the many interesting talks offered in the conference and had the chance to meet with colleagues from all around the world. In addition to the relevant scientific program, all attendees had the opportunity to explore the beautiful nature of Lapland and enjoy many different winter activities.
On a special mention, Dr. Tervaniemi organized a symposium highlighting the impact of music on learning and rehabilitation, with the invited international speakers Prof. Frank Russo and Prof. Assal Habibi.
It was a wonderful conference, made even more special by the magic of winter in Lapland.
